Grandpa Orlando Grondona meticulously jotted down in a black-covered notebook
the recipes of cakes and cookies of old Genoa. The high quality and tradition
of the Grondona's products have not been altered by the passage of time.
This is true of the seventies, when its products were first offered outside
the region of Liguria and in the mid eighties, when state-of-the-art technology
was introduced in a new manufacturing plant in response to an ever-increasing
market demand. These innovations were aimed at keeping up with today's
fast-paced and modern times, and not at compromising the home-style characteristics
of Grondona's baked goods.
